What year did they start using three point belts for the rear seats in the burb's and are they relatively easy to retrofit?

I have only seen one with the three point belts in it. If I recall correctly it was a 90 or a 91 and had a roll bar in it, which is where the upper portion attached to. It was a prior park ranger truck that they guy got a deal on. Most without the cages have lap belts. Hope this helps.

I have a 91 jimmy with shoulder harnesses attached to the top
We are going to relocate the shoulder belts to a roll cage for safety in a severe roll over situation /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif
does anyone know if the fact. system can be re-used or will I have to find a different one??

Actualy, I was mostly curious about Suburban rear seat 3 points but you gave me an idea. I think I'll cage the 'burb
and use the cage for the mount points. What dya think?
