Anybody installed new roller rivets in their rear window. I'm guessing I just grind off the old one, but how do I flatten the back end of the rivet without screwing it up? Any special tools?:doah:  :D :eek1:

When I replaced the rollers in my burb tailgate glass, I just used machine screws with nuts and flat washer. Has worked great for 4+ yrs now.

Something I've been meaning to try for sometime now but havn't gotten around to doing is, at work one day i noticed garbage compactor rollers are the same size as our window rollers, use ball bearings, and also, simply bolt on. So i would give that a shot if i were you, just check yer local hardware store.
