I had some issues with my th350 and it was loosing a lot of oil around the dipstick tube. well before i could fix it i ended up running low on fluid and by the time i got to the garage it would barely move. fixed the leak (i think) and filled it back up with oil and it wouldn't move at all but in reverse. i went threw all the gears and tried messing with the shifter but nothing. I ended up just poping it in reverse and parking it beside the garage.

my question is do think a rebuild kit from like summitracing would fix it or do you think i just completely toasted it beyond repair and i should look elsewhere.

thay take a hell of a beating.

grab a transtar kit http://www.northernautoparts.com/ProductModelDetail.cfm?ProductModelId=2478

no yoyo kit http://www.northernautoparts.com/ProductModelDetail.cfm?ProductModelId=2510

and transtar case saver part # 44761b replaces the clunk spring.

fresh convortor.

flush the lines and cooler in the system and go for it.

my buddy did mine with this stuff for my old truck worked super . he has been using there stuff for years. best band for the buck. and the shift kit is not super nasty. just firms stuff up to help from killing the tranny.

or if you want fast / easy grab a reman unit from name brand place and bolt it in with warrenty.
