Are we talking carbide wheel or grit?
Doesn’t matter to me, I just need to be able to cut steel. I know there are metal blades that look like circular saw blades but I didn’t know what would be better.
The blade I’m currently using is the one that came on the saw, it looks like a composite(?) material like a grinding wheel just thinner.
That's what I use on my 14" and I'm not sure if Diablo has that size but it's where I am looking for the new disc I get
Take a look at the offerings from Evolution,use them on my DeWalt chop saw with no problems . Mine is the cold saw version,so minimal chips no sparks.

Typically a fiber blade chopsaw is too high rpm for a cold cut blade. Make sure you check.
1600 rpm blade (Evolution) vs 3800 rpm saw. Thank you for this important tidbit of info but you have also killed the mood of the party.
The speed of the saw matters. If it's fast, like a wood cutting saw, then you are stuck with a grit blade. The fancier metal cutting blades that have real teeth on them are meant for much slower RPM's. You'll just burn them up if you put one on a faster speed chop saw.
It looks like my saw is 3800 rpm. I see Vevor has a 3500 rpm blade but I’m not really familiar with the company.
Vevor actually makes decent stuff. Kind of the top tier of the Chinese affordable tools these days.

FYI, Vevor is not a manufacturer. It's a rather massive white-label distributor that brands and resells generic chinese manufactured goods.
It's more like Target and other retailers and their white labeled brands. You may trust shopping there, but not everything you get there will be of the same quality, as it comes from different manufacturers.
That said, I have a handful of Vevor items that have served me well, which leads me to believe that someone in that company has a few scruples about who they adopt for white-labeling. It of course would not be good for them to start selling shoddy junk that ruins their reputation.
