Recommended online tire source?

I'm looking for tires for my truck. It's been a bad week for tires. Luckily I already had some on order from over a month ago for my wife's Equinox but they weren't scheduled for install on the spare set of rims for two weeks... but I went and picked up the tires and took them to another shop that put them on the bare wheels and balanced them... for less. She hit something on the expressway and before she could get to the shoulder it was flat. I told her to drive it until she was at the bottom of the ramp... grabbed my trailer and went and got it... That was Wednesday.

But today I had a FedEx driver drive into the side of my truck and tore a hole in the sidewall of my Duratracs along with ****ing up the box of my truck. My 275x55R20 Duratracs were $750 installed a few years ago and now they're over $300 a tire plus tax/install.

I'm bringing this thread back to life. I'm looking at tires for my daughter's 2007 Audi A3. Tire Rack has a good price on a set of Coopers. I can have them sent to Discount Tire for the install, etc. How does it work for getting flats fixed? Big O and Discount will fix them for free as long as they were bought from the store.

Cooper's....????? You, did mean you were planning on Continentals for that vehicle, didn't you?

Nope, Cooper. I've had them on several different vehicles, no issues. Am I missing something?

I believe Discount will fix tires, that are fixable in their eyes. I took a tire in with what turned out to be 10 penny nail sideways through the tread, not fixable.
Of course that model tire tire was no longer available. Was quoted 280 ea for the same brand new model of that tire, said thank you I'll think about it, took my wheel and unfixable tire home. Bought the same tire tire from discount tire direct, a pair since was for my dune buggy rear, for 210 ea delivered. Took them to work and mounted on new wheels. I will plug or patch my own tire most times.
