Recovery ropes - an alternative to straps

Yes, it is more expensive. I am able to offer a guarantee on it through the manufacturer.
The options are much greater on the rope also.

When comparing size to size and weight to weight, the rope is stonger.

Also, it does not absorb water like nylon straps and ropes do.
Would you be able to put together a table that shows this info? I'm definitely leaning towards a 3" strap because it is so much cheaper and adequate for my 6K pound Blazer, but I like to be a well-informed shopper. :)

Perhaps a table that has rows of qualities like:

Thanks!

I can put that together.

I am on my way to a meeting for a tug-of-war contest that is being held locally next weekend. I will try to get it together tomorrow morning.

Cool. No rush. Are you guys using your ropes for the tug-o-war? Video??? :ears: :D

I just started to get involved with the tug of war guys. Not using anything from me yet as all my stuff has some stretch to it, which you do not want in a tug-o-war.

Hay was just bailed, so I will have to put off the little chart a bit. Time to go put all the hay away.

Been insanely busy with the tug-o-war and now the county fair. Haven't been on the Puter much.
Oh, building a pen for goats too. Anyways...

Chart is done, just have to add in the WLL. Sorry it is taking so long.

PMs answered also.

Sorry, but I cannot help.

I leave the manufacturing to the experts. My suppliers will only work on their own products.

Sorry.

is that number SWLL or max load?

could you quote me a 100k 30' with rings/

I see guys talking about clevis, I don't see a pic with a clevis in it? how does that get permanently attached? or am I missing something? I've got a 25ton clevis here already.

thanks.
