Recovery ropes - an alternative to straps

is that number SWLL or max load?

could you quote me a 100k 30' with rings/

I see guys talking about clevis, I don't see a pic with a clevis in it? how does that get permanently attached? or am I missing something? I've got a 25ton clevis here already.

thanks.

That would be the breaking strength. It is a conservative rating.

The clevis is braided into the rope. You would have to REALLY work to get it out, and even then... I would be really surprised.

The 100k is a 3 inch rope.
I can get you exact prices tomorrow, but these would be very close estimates. These prices are plus shipping.
Just loops - $240
2 rings or clevises - $400

Is there an advantage to having the clevises braided into the rope, or is it simply for ease-of-use?

Ease of use. Less chance of loosing it. When you get into the larger rope... the 75k and up... the rope gets large and his harder to hook to say a pintly hitch or something like that.

Ken,
Are these prices still good?

25k rope with loops on each end 30ft $80. Equivalent to a 3 inch strap.
37.5k rope with loops on each end 30ft $100. Equivalent to a 4 inch strap.
50k rope with loops on each end 30ft $140. Equivalent to a 6 inch strap.
75k rope with rings braided at each end 30ft $285. Equivalent to a 9 inch strap. I am getting these with rings since this is a 2.5 inch rope.
Plus shipping if needed.
