started grooving tires to get the 43s ready for the slickrock

Yeah, and you're registered, too...:waytogo:

I, on the other hand, can't even make up my mind about trails...

At least, I believe I have two new tires coming in, to be mounted Sept. 4th; and besides the torque wrench/grease gun session under the truck, I wonder whether I should change out the passenger seat bracket/seat and try to install the laptop mount, or try to find new shocks, at least for the front ... Labor Day better turn into a productive weekend... :doah:

I think these are the setup he's after:

Any tire these days are hard to find but I'm working on it.
I might need to do a little extra cutting because I'm going from
38.5 to 39.5's :hack:

You will love them! Great tire for the slick rock. Make sure your drive train will be up for them.

LT.

The 39.5 rockers are BIG too. It's every bit of the 39.5" tall and wider than the advertised 16.5" width. I'm running the 42's and I love them, Brandon has the 39.5's.

Oh crap! :doah:
I registered and didn't pick my trails :eek1:. WTF.
Sorry Scott, I blew through it and missed entering them and it never prompted me. Oh Well, here you go unless a change is needed for trail leaders or smething else happens. Paid for three.
Friday- Area BFE
Saturday - Trifecta
Sunday - Behind the Rocks
I'll send you a PM also.
:surepal: :screwy:

On the sheet they say S.W. is 17.5 (Section Width) which is the widest part of the tire and the thread width is 12.8 I'm not as worried about the middle of the tire as I
am the end and height. I think I'll make it and I'm never pumping them up to 45 lbs. either. The section width on the TSL's was 15.4 so I'm going a little wider in the middle.
Here's the spec.s as I have them. Maybe I'm wrong but I hope not-

Talk to me boys :D
I don't want you to end up with a tire you're not going to be able to run.
I don't either and thanks!

I ran the 38.5x15.5LT15 super swamper SX's and the 39.5x16.5 rockers are a lot bigger. I hope they fit for you, but they are a big tire.

Yeah, I think my next tire will either be those Pit Bull's or Super Swamper LTB's.
