how do I attach the remote starter to the 350? I just need to turn the engine over several times. I would like to keep the plugs and wires on the engine still. What do I need to remove so it does not start? 1978 350

To keep it from turning over and keep it from firing you need to remove the red wire to the distributor, then hook up remote starter.

opps sorry forgot turn over of motor.

purple wire on starter. supply it with 12volts when needed to bump it.

You can pickup that purple wire in the wiring harness right behind the brake master cylinder. It will require a little skinning of the insulation, but I find it much easier to hook up my remote starter switch there than on the starter soleniod. To keep it from starting, don't turn the key on, leave it off.

just for safty dont care if key is off.

PULL the 12v wire from dist.

we dont need a i am hurt bad thread.
