Well I inhareted a really nice 85 3/4 ton Suburban that has a new interior, paint, 400c.i. small block, T400 Tranny, T-case, and 4" suspension lift 1ton locked axles F/R, 37" SSR's it has all been replaced withen the last year and a half. I dont like that it has a 3" body lift as well as the suspension lift. My question is what all do I need to take it off. Are there shift linkages that will need to be removed and swapped out It has an electric fan so a fan shroud will not be a problem, I know on my jeep I needed to do the linkages with just a 1" body lift, also will the body mounts still be on there with the pucks or will I need to purchase new ones. Also can I do one side at a time like I did with my jeep or go front to rear etc. I just dont know how I would lift the entire body at once. Thanks for any suggestions, I plan on keeping this thing around for many years to come and finnish it off just the way he wanted it W/ a custom winch bumpers front and rear, and MPI. I am just not a huge fan of big body lifts as I think they are dangerous.
