don't expect much from the aircraft stripper.. ever since they neutered it, it's pitiful...
a palm sander ain't gonna do much.. if I was gonna mechanical strip it, I would either hog it with a DA and 60 grit, or maybe a crudbuster type tool, like Eastwoods.....

I would also consider some heat and a high quality scraper too, just watch your fumes...
