Repacking wheel bearings

Hi All,

I had an inner axle seal fail, which resulted in gear oil leaking through, and washing out all the grease on my wheel bearings.

Any tips on repacking them with grease while they are still on the axle shaft? Injecting it with a syringe is my best guess.

Here is a pic. It's a Chrysler 8 3/4 axle off a 68 Charger, but I assume the method will be the same regardless of make and model.

Great, thanks a lot Bubba Blazer! I hope my local auto parts store has that grease needle he mentioned.

old pic and i liked the flat hood - bone stock 4bbl (magnum spec'd) surprised many a 5.0 & was my daily driver in college.
