Replacing a turn signal switch lever on a 88 burb.
I haven't done one of these before. Already tightened up the tilt but cannot get the old lever out to replace it. Also how do you get the new wire in, the end looks fixed and I can see a hole the wire runs through from the top.
Help anyone?

Just did this last night. If you've already fixed the tilt before, you know how to do the hard parts.

The stalk just pulls out of the turn signal switch, and hte wiring disconnects at the bottom of the column. There is a plastic wire cover you can use to pull the old out and install the new one.

You'll figure it out when you get in there. Just be sure to run the new turn signal stalk wire into the top of the column through the same path the old one was in.
