I feel that. Hell, I just bought gauges, Autometer, but not super fancy stuff. Made pretty short work of $700.

Amen to this ^With todays prices I wouldn’t be able to have built my truck
That’s why it’s taken me 4 years to get to almost ready to turn the key and test. All the little shit adds up insanely fast. With todays prices I wouldn’t be able to have built my truck
Start now before it isn’t possible, but I really don’t like stacking parts up. I usually buy a week before I need it.What is a budget? I didn't start with one. Thankfully. Because I would have been way off.
Makes building the Drag Jimmy in retirement a question.

Extra fittings for those "special" hard to get things. It's a bummer to need a replacement and not have it.What else do I need for the truck? I have another order ready, but I do not want to pay shipping. Need $32 more. Shipping is $18.
Did you get the two special pipe plugs for the oil galley where the vacuum pump was?Air intake. Thanks.

Or maybe some oil or trans fluid.
There is a sign in the managers office at my local O'Reillys'.

Came with the ICT block off plate, that I then replaced with the bracket for the PS pump. It went into the tuition pile.Did you get the two special pipe plugs for the oil galley where the vacuum pump was?
Cool you were able to make the dipstick work. If it’s Mitch, he is definitely terrible at returning emails and texts. One extra of every fitting I ordered. Extra hose also.

I was able to straighten the oil dipstick, then bend it to go outside of the headers and point forward. In the factory location, it was against the driverside floor.
Fuel pump has been installed in the tank. I welded a down tube with a 90* bend pointed away from the pump, onto the return tube. The return fuel will not foam this way. Clamped the fuel pump to it. Ran power feed to the front for the relay install.
I have been ghosted by the ECU and harness guy. Was supposed to be 2 weeks. Monday was 4 weeks from when he emailed that he got it. Said it was shipping Tuesday. Not returning emails or calls now. How do people stay in business this way?
