I don't know what other transmissions they are on.

It holds the fluid from flowing through the cooler until it is up to temp. So filling the transmission needs heat cycles to make sure it is full. And it will never run cooler than the thermal switch is set for.

Supposedly, it will also run cooler under load because the aftermarket kit allows more flow.

That thermostat is what destroys 6l90 and 8l90 trannys. They run way to hot

I am now 6 weeks into a 2 week turn around on the ECU and harness. Not taking my calls or answering emails.

Would anyone be interested in calling this guy for me to find out what is going on? I figure "the squeaky wheel" thing might help.

As much as I do not want to buy from Amazon, I could not beat the prices and searching.

Summit and Jegs were a pain to search just these parts. Always came up with cold air kits. Not what I needed.

So all of this was oredered Monday, showed up this morning, along with rthe MAF sensor. I will have to weld the sensor mount into the tube, but that is OK. Eveything I have read says it works better down stream of the filter at the end of a straight section. So I figure 18" in should be good enough.

I talked to him at 1:30pm. He sent the tracking number to my email while we were on the phone.

LYING PIECE OF CRAP HUMAN BEING. Nope. No email. No text. He has 4 ways to get it to me. 2 cell numbers and both emails. Nothing. I am giving it until Friday, because I do not have the time the rest of this week to deal with it.

Looks like I am driving Juniors corvette this year.
