It was a beautiful day today, except for the wind. I am exhausted from driving a brick on mountain roads in the wind.

The truck did great until it didn't.
We were on the freeway, I asked Eileen if she could see the wind in the trees. I couldn't, but I felt like I was hanging on for dear life. Coming to our exit, I started to turn off and the steering is heavy and sluggish. "OH crap". Test the brakes, sure enough, they are not there. The hydroboost has failed. Not feeling well and tired is not when you want your power system to go down, getting off of the freeway.
Made a left over the freeway to head to Buckee's to get gas. 3 signals and downhill. Not fun.
The failure was 100% my fault.
Yesterday I was talking with a guy looking at my engine swap, and noticed that the remote reservoir had slid down in the bracket. I mentioned that I was going to fix it at the hotel. My bad memory forgot all about it an hour later. Fell out going down the road. Sprayed the fluid out the vent hole. Drivers side of the truck is saturated.
We were lucky to be headed home. If not, this failure would have happened in the mountains of NC.
Reinstalled it. I guess I need to check it occasionally. 2 bottles of fluid and we were back in business.
4 miles later, a tick come up in the right front corner. Wheel speed related. Then it goes away at low speed. Comes back occasionally.

Ah, I was wondering. I've been watching the Yeah Buddy Garage videos and hadn't seen your truck since day 2 or so.
Repost due to posted in the wrong thread.
Drove the truck to breakfast. Had to jump the starter to leave there and head to a car show. Worked fine the rest of the day. I think the ignition switch is going bad.
