The other cars were holding me up. But it kept me at an enjoyable speed. I will run an autocross course some day. Because, it's ReTonkulous.
Well this sucks.
I finally had the 15x10 wheels stripped. Deep rust pits showed up. One is through. Yes, I can weld it closed and clean it up. I noticed that one has been recentered. I measured back spacing. The left one has 3.125", the right one has 3.325". These will be used for display only with the smaller used slicks, at car shows. Now to find good wheels for the real slicks. Without paying $1800.

I thought someone had posted a link to aftermarket wheels like the ones I have. But I can not find that post.
They were supposed to have been a matched set when I had them built 25 years ago guess not
I will take all 3. 2 are for a static display, so they will not matter. As long as 2 are the same and straight, they will work.

Fake plate. Tennessee only has rear plates. Anything can go on the front.
It identifies as a hot rod and Tennessee doesn’t allow that.
I plan to 3d print a plate for it. Just need the time. I seem to be pulled in a crap load of directions.

A couple of weeks ago, I drove the truck to breakfast and a benefit car show for my 40 year old neighbor who had a stroke. The truck ran out of HP at 80mph passing a semi.
Stopped for breakfast. The truck started and I backed out of the parking spot and it died. It would try to restart, so I am thinking fuel. In the middle of the drive-through access lane. No fuel pressure on the gauge. I pulled the access cover and check for power. It is good. pull the new pump out to swap it in. I pulled the old pump and started loosening the hose clamps on the pump. That is when I realized the hose was way soft.
I start looking at it and see the split at the top. 
I guess I brain farted 4 years ago and put non submersible hose on it. Swapped in a piece of correct hose, which I had in my parts box. Put it back together. Problem solved.
Last week I went to Sam's Club. Filled the truck with fuel. Went into the store to buy a new TV. When I left, he truck rolled ot of the parking space and started sputtering. Rolled it to the side. I thought "is that some crappy fuel?" Nope, no fuel pressure again. Has power. Fuel is now seeping around the wire feed grommet in the output housing. Pump was running. I pulled it apart again. Stupid me forgot to tighten the upper hose clamp.
I have been daily driving the truck. Today I met with the old guys for breakfast. Truck started, then quit. Pulled the access cover and immediately went to the pump. Based on passed experience. Not the issue. No power to the pump now. Checked the fuse and relay, both were good. Ran a wire from the battery to the fuel pump and drove it that way.
