Reviving a parked K5

Well...went out and tried to evaluate my situation today. Make sure all was still there. One completely flat tire. I found the key which is good news

Thanks. Yeah, just the roof through old primer and paint (always troublesome), the hood, the top rail of the tailgate, the top of the tailgate key area, and nothing much else. They say this particular year had horrible paint, especially the clear. Which I can attest to. Back when this thing was newer every buff pad came off red. My hands ended up covered in chalkiness today... Hopefully a little sanding and some primer will take care of that til I can afford a PJ.

Yeah I popped the hood...most of insulation torn down. I can't wait to see the wildlife scootin in all different directions when it's first dragged...
