thay got all 4 and left my sitting on my own spare steel wheels i had stored behind it. and its sinking in the yard now.

i will give a reward of cash for info or full return of them to me. no questions asked if retuned 100% as taken.

Sorry to hear bout the loss.
Scumbags are everywhere... I won't drive my Blazer anywhere where I'm gonna be out a while and don't have a visual of it...

Damn, a shotgun loaded with rock salt comes to mind. I hate a f**kin' thief.

I've talked to my brother and a couple of friends in the local clubs. There are a couple of gatherings over the next couple of weeks they will be at. Hopefully my truck will be running by the end of the week so I can put eyes on the rides.

Good luck Brett, thieves boil my blood. Hope all works out well!!

Not trying to be a jerk......just curious. How would you prvove the tires and wheels are yours if you did see someone driving around with them? Or is that a non law enforcement issue?

I know i would be getting them back one way or another, but just wondering about the "legal" way.

That really sucks, but at least that isnt a common tire and will stick out alot more than a set of swampers or the like

If he bought a warranty with the tires the tire store would have written down the DOT numbers on each tire so they can be indentified for any future warranty.

that wouldn't prove they were his, I can guarantee there were 4 tires manufactured in those date codes.

Each tire has a unique DOT number and AFAIK there aren't two tires with the same numbers. The numbers of each tire would be printed on his receipt (assuming he bought a warranty with them).

dot # on my car tires are all the same, the only different # are the date codes, which specify week and year produced.

Well, maybe that's it then. I know that tire shops keep records of numbers on a tire if they sell a warranty with them.

dot #s dictate what plant mold and run with week and year .

tons of tires with the same dot #s on them.

and thay are a vary non normal tire for this area and yes will stick out like a big sore thumb.

really sorry to hear it bro, that ****'s ridiculous. Watch craigslist, and I hope you own a gun. If someone did that to me and I found out who it was, there would be some permanent teeth marks in the curb.....

well going to print up some flyers to give out to the local tow truck shops/auto repair shops/tire stores and anything i can think of. figure these guys will see more of a chance at finding them than my self.

well last 36hrs ofr so i have spent prob 10+ on foot / driven / talkin to people and stores and buissness about this with my flyer i made up .

i have burned around 70+ of these out of my posesion and taped & posted up for all to see.

got all the local fire houses / police shops / tow truck shops / auto repair - tire shops / gas stations / factorys posted at employe time clocks to see. and more i cant think of now.

if anything thay will not even run them around here . thay will need to sit on them for ever.

or thay can just give them back to me.

if you want this to print and post up in your area or 4x4 club please ask i can send a full size non edited pic to you.

I hope you own a gun. .

what good is that going to do, ya really want to go to prison for threatening the suspected thief with a gun? cause you would, i don't care if THEY prove if THEY were his tires...

and yes, the word you're looking for is THEY  :D

ohhhh this **** gets my blood boiling. keep an eye on ebay. craigstlist is good, but they will most likely want to sell them somewhere other than local because they are easy to spot.

I always think my old truck is beyond being screwed with and having stuff stolen, i keep being proven wrong. time for a set of wheel locks and all that jazz

Sorry to hear about your loss. I will let you know my opinion and from past experience, nine times out of ten , these were taken by somebody who knew they were there and how much time they had to take them. this most likely was not just some dude driving by and wanted to steal them .

good luck getting them back , very nice setup.
Dont give up , they are probably in somebodys garage and will stay in there till things cool down.
