i have a 90 5.7 with the edelbrock port fuel injection conversion and the exhaust keeps blowing out black smoke on the startup and it smells like gas fumes something terrible. it keeps throwing code 32 (egr) when driving at hwy speeds. pretty much EVERYTHING has been replaced with all the previous codes. so my question is would the erg valve cause it to run to rich? or is there anyway i can adjust it with the fuel setup the way it is?
