You can order some from Randy's or see if the local parts store sells it. Even better just use some white lith grease, works well enough to see the pattern.
You need to get a shim kit and it will probably come with the compound. The shim kit will come with pinion and carrier shims. You will need some tools to do this set up. Bearing spliter, Dial indicator, micrometer, and a shop press would make the job cake. If you do not have a shop press you can just shim the big pinion race to get your desired pinion depth.
