Nice looking, but as Tom Hanks said in Big "I don't get it..."

What would it cost to build one this nice?

Carbon fiber hood.... Interesting. To answer your question it would be over 100k easy to build that... got to remember what the shop labor rate is for a place like the ringbrothers is going to cost. And the attention to detail that they put into things like that...

Wow! $300,000 - Instant gratification vs Having one built like that and waiting a year +

BAT is a pretty strict auction site. you need a credit card to register and Flaky bidders are banned for life. It will be interesting to follow the post-auction comments on this one.

Its super nice fo sho. But, yeah, steering wheel was the first thing I saw.

Just checked the ringbrothers website. Hood is available.....for $5K. :yikes:

Lol. I like the gmt400 steering wheel. They are nice. And a great reasonable updated/upgrade for a driver and what not.
My problem is it feels junkyard to me.
Quality aftermarket wheels can be had for 150-200 bucks.
If I'm paying 300k it better not have a junkyard wheel on it.
Of course I didn't even pay that for my house and I'm guessing that something that can toss around 300k on a 50 year old vehicle wouldn't be as picky as me.
Because obviously they don't have to work as hard for money as me

Insane! I wonder if they could have got $320,000.00 for it by taking off those cheap chrome nerf bars.

You call that a custom roll bar, looks like it belongs on the Stuntman's pickup.

I would like to see better pictures of the soft top frame and how it connects to the windshield header. That looks very clean from the front.

It's a nice truck but not $185k nice. Its honestly a bit disappointing as they have build some really nice/neat vehicles in the past. Really liked some of their builds.

Guessing this wasn't a full custom build.
The customer they built it for probably wasn't looking for over the top.

$300k is rediculous. But if they keep doing it it just makes my pile of garbage look better... lol
