Well too bad you're jumping off I5 in Portland, I am about 45 miles north of Seattle. Have you thought about that route?? I5 all the way up to Vancouver BC then eastward???

I did the math and it's way quicker to cut across Oregon and Washington and cross into Canada in Idaho.
