For Sale near new PSC hydro assist steering gear cross over conversion, with ram, Pump, Fittings Hoses, Ram is 1.75'' X 8" stroke and gear box is a GM ported high pressure PSC steering gear box.
Part #'s
KIT - PSC Motorsports 80-87 GM 4X4 Cylinder Assist Kit w/ Cross Over Steering - PSC-SK320
SKU #: PSC-SK320
Individual parts as listed @ PSCMOTORSPORTS
Gear Box - PSC- SG041MR (2WD needed for cross over)
Cylinder - PSC- SG2201
Fits K5 Blazer also fits other 80 - 87 GM TRUCK/SUV frames, Comes with a drop pitman arm for a 4" leaf spring lift, a 3/4 ton chevy truck front axle (8 lug 10 bolt 8.5"), minus the brake calipers brakes and rotors, Good hubs, gears, shafts.
Pictures show how I installed the steering upgrade for my application and budget at the time. It is what is listed TRUE Hydraulic assited Crossover steering assist set up, bolt on kit unmodified. Just need to get the upper High Steer arm, tabs, rod ends. Those you will want new. Or run it like I have done. It works great either way.
I drove it a few times on 4 wheeling trips and now upgrading to full hydro set up and a 60, it has some scuffs and surface rust on outside of ram (shaft is good no scratches/scuffs) and box, but no leaks or damage like I say NEAR NEW CONDITION. Works great, I had 37 x13.50 x17 BFG Krawler TA's Sticky Compound, and never had any issues turning with hubs locked on the trail (open Diff no locker) But With a Locker or welded its a HUGE improvement on the Trail, Roads, gravel or black top. Best way to go when lifting your pick up or blazer and running oversized tires on a trail rig or daily driver.
Selling as a kit but will part out seperate for steering or axle.
Contact me with your questions I am happy to discuss more details about these parts.

Thank you.

Pics

Unable to get pics to upload on CK5 check out the add on Craigslist Colo. western slope search same title used on CK5. No serious offers yet but a lot of interest in the steering set up rather sell it whole than to part it out. Make me an offer.

Not yet, Man I'd sure like to sell this set up... I need the $ For PRP seats. It's a 1.75" cylinder. Part# 2201 Gear p/n 041MR check it out on PSC site.
From what I have been able to find in research, (& my own experience 25 years off road roadng in various rigs) for a barely used hydro assist in a PSC (best available aftermarket assist steering set up IMO & proven in the off road racing world) this is a shoppers Bargain. $700 obo is not to bad, a new set up is $1150 w/out shipping. In a no nonsense approach, & no disrespect intended, If you know what your looking at you see that it is a good deal. With that said I'm not gonna give it away, but will accept FAIR SERIOUS offers for the complete system, not for parts of the system, end cap, hoses, or ram.

Regards.

Thank you

You say crossover, but your pics on craigslist don't show you have crossover steering. Is the gear box the 2wd style for crossover steering?

Steering assist

The pics are of how I had mine set up. It is a true crossover assist steering kit, Look up part numbers provided, hope it clears up the confusion? Very versatile kit easy to install and use, lol.

That helps, thanks. To clarify a bit more, you are selling the pump, reservoir, brackets fittings and lines as well as the gear box and ram?

That is my concern also, did you use a custom pitman arm or modify the sector shaft? I've been searching since you pm'd me. Can't find nothing concrete about using a 2wd box for the traditional push pull steering.

Hydro assist

I'm looking to sell all listed, I will sell steering separate as a kit not parts. So it's what is pictured here. Pump, cylinder, gear box fittings hoses, pitman arms for 2wd & drop for crossover. Rod ends & tabs will need to be sourced from 4x4 shop or psc for whatever set up your doing crossover or like mine push pull.

Thanks for the info. I'm not trying to be difficult. Just want to make sure we all know what we are getting. Where do you live? The map on craigslist shows you over by Cortez.
