Rockcrusher Diff Cover For Ck5 Members Only

FWIW

I talked to Grant today to see what the deal was on the covers. He stated that his partner in Australia ordered more covers built than Grant had asked for. He said this has caused the delay. He said they are expected to be in next month.

So, don't shoot the messenger... lol, I'm just telling you what I was told by him. I figure I'll wait another month and go from there. It's just a cover, so it's not like it's holding me back from anything. But, I'm ready for a conclusion. So, I'll wait the month or so, and if I don't have a cover in the mail for shortly after that, then I'll be requesting a refund.

solid industries sells a cover very similar for almost the same price...dont worry im sure if they dont come in next month they will come in the month after...or the month after that...people have already ordered the solid covers and got them in less than a week...

Don't forget the month after that.. lol.

I'm aware of the Solid covers, and will buy one if I don't get some results in a month. Like I said, it's a cover, not a heart valve .. so I can wait.

Any word? I know mine has not showed up.

Just what I was told by Grant, that they are due in, in oct. I figure sometime around the early part of the month I'll call him and if all I get is some chinwagging... then I'll request a refund and buy from Solid.

I've been more than fair in my wait. Plenty of people would probably say too fair.. but I would extend the same curtiousy to any vendor here. My father was a small business owner, and there are things that are out of your control, no matter how much unrest it may cause. So, I feel that I'm about to the end of my wait, one way or another. I'll feel comfortable requesting a refund knowing full well I gave him plenty of opportunity to deliver. If the covers are in, then that will be great too.

You are a very patient/forgiving fellow! I hope they come through for ya! I hope all y'all get your covers soon, that's some craziness!:eek1:

I try to be. :thumb: If it was a set of springs or something that was holding me back from getting something done, I wouldn't be nearly as patient (well not for as long, I originally ordered in Jan when I got my D60 cover). But since it's just a cover, I'm not in any dire straits. But, I am ready to come to a conclusion on this whole deal. The best outcome would be that the covers come in, and I get mine soon. But at this point, I have my doubts, and am simply allowing this last time frame to pass, as I told him I would.

So, we'll see what happens.

I cancelled my order back at the end of August. It then took around a month to get my refund. When I would send them an email they would send me the same response every time. Something about computer problems. When I threatened to take further action about not getting my refund is when I got results.

SCAMen

Get your refunds!! We got ours from our CC company a while ago.

and then order some covers from Dan @ Ruffstuff or Kert @ DIY4X or a SOLID cover.......................but not from GRANT!

Rockcrusher Up-date 12/02/08

Hello CK5 members,
This is Larry Conville - CEO of Marketing for Rockcrusher. I joined the Rockcrusher staff this past July, 2008. Some of you may recognize me or my name from other places in the off-road industry.

I worked with Superlift Suspension from 1983-1998: Super Craft (a bumper manufacturer) from 1998-August, 2000: and Skyjacker Suspensions from August 2000-July, 2008.

But first and foremost, I grew up in the loving four wheelin', mud digging, mud racing, and all sort of off-road activities in the good ol' South in my home state of Louisiana.

I've met and dealt with many members of CK5 in my previous gigs in the industry. Whether it was event sponsorships, product sponsorships, or club involvement, it has been a fun ride.

In my new position at Rockcrusher, I want to set some things right between the CK5 members. IF we, Rockcrusher owe any of you members a diff cover let me know. IF you would like to purchase a new Rockcrusher Chevy/GM 14 bolt cover let me know.

I chased down some of the threads on Rockcrusher and I understand your disappoint. The disappoint was not in the product, but the delivery and undelivered promises.

I'll post another thread later on the Truth & Myths of the Rockcrusher situation later today.

Please give Rockcrusher & I a chance to make things right with you. We want to do it.

Gratefully Yours,
Larry Conville

Grant is still the CEO of Operations for Rockcrusher. Over the two years Rockcrusher LLC has been in an ugly corporate sabotage. A former representative of Rockcrusher carried out a secret act to damage property and trademarks, obstruct operations, undermine negotiations, and destroy the reputation of the Rockcrusher name.

When someone takes your entire current inventory, doesn’t pay you for it, and makes an underhanded deal with another company to reproduce the product you have researched and developed, engineered, trademarked, marketed for a specific consumer in the off-road industry, that is sabotage. (This was the same time Rockcrusher originally posted the GM 14 Bolt Covers on CK5.)

This whole thing has been a shocker (something terrible) for me. It’s been a bloody hard yakka (very hard work) to get the support I needed to put the rumors to rest and to get my business, and my family, back on our feet.” Grant Shirley, CEO of Rockcrusher LLC
This all happened because a person’s greed and laziness overtook his desires. He decided to take away another man’s solid based, family owned business instead of creating and building a new business out of his own talents and abilities.
He wasn’t concerned about the integrity of the product or of the lives it would affect… the loyal Rockcrusher customers and distributors, the moral and ethical character of automotive aftermarket industry’s reputation, or the employees and their families of the true founders of Rockcrusher LLC.
To put an end to the rumors and false allegations, Rockcrusher was never sold out nor were they ever bought out. Rockcrusher never ‘sold out’ to another company or to their loyal customers. Rockcrusher’s commitment to their customers, dealers, and the off-road industry has always been the active power in their company. “I’d had a gutful of the lies and just wanted a fair go it. I’ve been flat out like a lizard drinking (flat out busy). Going at it hammer and tongs (putting a complete effort into something) keeping my business going and trying to keep the product coming. Many of my dealers have been great about it and I really appreciate all the efforts and understanding that they have given me.” Grant Shirley, CEO of Rockcrusher LLC
That is the simple reason that Rockcrusher has not been able to supply the needs of our customers and our dealers in the past. Rockcrusher is rising up from this temporary setback and is coming out stronger than ever. It was been full on (intense) during these past years: even more than it was to first start Rockcrusher back in 2000. But I reckon we’re on our way to being aces again.” Grant Shirley, CEO of Rockcrusher LLC
We stopped looking at where we’ve been, and started looking at where we can be. Rockcrusher is focusing on the future. We are determined to ‘Fight the Good Fight’ and have faith that justice will prevail in these litigations. Not a malice manipulation, but a tactful strategy.
Just like you have to ‘pick the right line’ to effectively maneuver an obstacle on the trail or in a competition, our team goal is to manage the market by skill and dexterity. We look forward to gaining your business and exceeding your expectations.
