Rokie questions

Don’t know if I have a driveshaft shop near me. Probably there is one not to far away tough. So if I go 8 in. there is no way the stock driveshafts can be used? And what about length and stiffness of the springs?

[/ QUOTE ] 8" lift is going to be stiff (Rough ride) nomatter what, You could go 6". I went 6" springs + extended shackles (.25 to .50 of additionnasl lift) up front, and ORD 4" shackle flip + 3" Springs. Now if I add some zero-rates from ORD I'd be at 8" rear, and 7.5" front, and still leave myself some room to grow (Body lift) and have a decent ride.

But if I go 4” suspension (already have it on the truck) and shackle flip in the rear will I have to replace the springs I have or will they be stiff enough? Will it result in the 8” I’m looking for? How much lift can I get if I make my own long shackles for the front, make them like 7.5” and have my 4” suspension? And the same there, will I have to replace the springs?

How high can I go before I have to change driveshafts and what modifications can be done to use the stock driveshafts with the lift I suggested above, is it possible?

If it is possible I would like to avoid having to replace the stock driveshafts but I really really would like to go about 8” suspension + shackles and 3” body. For a total of 11” lift and some all terrain 35” tiers.
