I would expect the same. B pillar would be taller in the blazer. Probably about 6". We may be able to do some comparison measuring and knock out a blazer cage for you.

nothing like being in a bad position and thinking just hang on to the belts and know you got a good cage around you!
I bet you were glad you had a cage in that spot. It was ready to roll.
This is the way I like to do the install on a pickup cab. 2" hole saw where the A pillar is gona set. Allows you to drop the leg through the hole for welding the top sides of the bars.
Then when all that is done, slide this in place and make the last weld here.
Bottom side leaves you a nice place to tie it back to the frame and this spot should be. There really is no structure in the floor when you go through the dash.
Here's a shot of what the back side of the B pillar hoop floor plate looks like from underneath. This one wouldn't necessarily need to be tied back to the frame. The floor has a lot of structure here. Still could be with some extra work.

Is the kit going to come with, or have as an option(for a nominal fee of course) the bracing required to go from the frame to the bottom of the A-Pillar mount?

Yep, I did mean frame and I fixed it.
Something we can add as an option. This one might be a while though. In order for me to design the pieces for the kind of fit we are looking for, we'll need to get the cab back on a frame. Not something that is gona happen quickly.
Very nice. How tight of a radius did you use? Looks pretty big like 7" or so. I can't remember if you said but what size tube are you using?

Its been a full week, any new photos or news for us?
Working on the "in front of the dash" option now. Post some more photos of the cage itself tonight and the price for the "through the dash option."

Here you can see what we're gona do on the kits to save you a decent chunk of cash on the shipping. The B pillar hoop and halo will be a 3 piece design. Each side of the joint has 3 holes for rosette welds and a 6" long piece of 1.5" DOM tubing makes the connection. The 1.5" tube will be welded in to the bent portion of tubing leaving the short straight center piece seperate for shipping. All of this allows the cage to be shipped in a pretty compact box considering what is inside. Cage kits will be able to ship standard ground UPS.
If you look closely, you can see the B pillar splices, those we buffed down the welds, this is not necessary for any reason, just a personal preference.

Very cool! I like the idea off making the larger parts into smaller pieces. Will help a lot with shipping and if a good weld done its still just as strong as a countious piece.

But, you're right, all comes down to the welds in the end.Design, and quality materials. You'll have a good cage with this kit.

That's a hell of a deal. For someone like me who doesn't have a bender and probably never will I couldn't build it for that price.
Only thing a I can think of adding, but it can be an option, is grab handles on the A-pillars to help with getting in.

This is for the basic pickup kit, correct Kert?
We'll be able to add alot of options once we get a final weld in. Not to far out from that. Grab handles is no problem.
Haven't weighed everything yet but my calcs tell me, tubing right at 50 lbs. With the plate work, hardware and packing materials, figure 65lbs. Doing our best to keep it under that magical 70lbs. UPS heavy weight number.
Yep, basic single cab pickup kit.
