My brother came to visit me this week. He has a 1995 Full size Bronco. It's a four hour drive and on the trip his brake pad broke and ground up his rotor. Well, sure, I'll help. Well, it ends up he's got ABS. Also, he has to totally remove his lockout hubs to get his rotor off.
Well, then his hub wouldn't come off his rotor because the ABS tone thing would need to be pressed off. He lives on the beach so all of this has a pretty good coat of surface rust.
We did finally get all of it finished but he was late getting back home. It did make me thankful for my Chevy wheel setup. Change rotor? No problem. Remove wheel, take rotor off, put new rotor on and put wheel back on.
So I now how another reason to love my Moira.
