Hey guys,
I purchased new rotors and went to swap them out but noticed that I would have to remove the locking hub assembly to get them off (and the new ones on).

What is the process for removal and repacking bearings? Is that even necessary? I also have a broken stud that needs to be replaced. The new rotors are still in the box...

I tried the Haynes manual, but it sucks. YouTube wasn't very helpful either.

thanks in advance

It's about time for you to buy the real "1972 Factory Service Manual" for your truck....

Check eBay, Amazon.com, etc.

Another one that I consider mandatory is the "Factory Assembly Manual" which shows all sorts of details about how the truck was originally assembled. It's invaluable for anyone doing restoration work and trying to get the details right.
