Does anyone know if the steering arm from a 1/2t chevy is the same as my GMC Jimmy?

GM Chevy skyjacker steering arm for 73-87

Yep, they are the same. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: Rough Country 6\" lift.........any good?

Thanks guys, it sure is nice to talk to people that know what they are talking about /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Side note: I can get a used ORD shackle flip for $100, however I crawled under the Jimmy and dang it looks like a task to remove the tank (15 yr old trailer hitch) to be able to access the new bolts/nuts after chiseling the old rivots /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif plus my springs are sagging so I know they need replacing.....decisions decisions /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Re: Rough Country 6\" lift.........any good?

Get the Echobit flip and you won't need to move the tank.

Re: Rough Country 6\" lift.........any good?

Really? dang I didnt know that. I assumed it replaced the stock hanger similar to the ORD flip /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Im a newbie to this forum and to K5's. Last SFA I did was an 83 yota /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif
Fry mentioned the Echobit, but I havent really studied it that well. Does it cause any problems for towing a boat or loaded trailer?
