OK I got a set of sliding side rear windows and the gaskets. I have never used someone elses rubber seal always bought new for windows. What is a good safe way of cleaning the old sealant off the rubber so they seat good and won't dry out from cleaning?
Or does anyone know the GM part number for them?
This is the type of window and their rubbers.
Thanks I never thought I would have a rubber problem!

What I'd do is use a small wire brush. You might be able to use some brake cleaner too, but I'd test it out first just to make sure it doesn't melt the rubber.
not cheap just poor.
