Midweek would be cool. We could travel out and back on the weekends.
For those of you that know the trail, am I good to go with my blazer? I've got lockers, but no cage and I prefer to keep my body the way it is if possible. I could make sure I have sliders by that point.
It's a trail I've always wanted to do, but I don't want to hold up the group if my rig isn't up to it.
I know someone that has a semi truck with a trailer. He would want to go though, I think it can only hod three rigs.
Not any more with that muffler.....Parking lot on the East end. Left the semi and a trailer there for 2 nights. It was tight one lane road getting in. Might be tough with a 40 foot trailer behind a semi. And getting around the Tahoe area was scetchy as all get out. Too many people not paying attention.
I could have killed hundreds of tree huggers who were not paying attention.
Parking info: http://www.rubicontrail.org/rtf-using.htm#BSo is there space to park at the trail ? Or a town close to park in ? What do we do with tow rigs is my question?

How does fuel usually work out? I was just thinking 3 days of trail running will consume a good bit of fuel.
I think I may have used half a tank or so. I can't quite remember
We filled at the "rip you off at $6 a gallon" station going into loon lake. Then loaded on the truck at the end.
