Figured i'd share a few pics of my last trip through the con. Went pretty well overall, little carnage, but nothing too major. Broke the cup the cv ball rides in and welded a socket in its place, packed it with grease and ran the whole trail, still surprised that worked as well as it did.

Dog's ready to go

Not sure I want him driving though :)

It was fun, lotta work though. it's the 89 in my sig, it's got around 4-5" of lift, no inner fenders in the front, and a bit of trimming.

Let me see what i got of the hula girl, pry the most expensive mod :) but glad she enjoys it too!

I thought I was gonna fit, i tried it flat and didn't look to good, this one still has a nice body on it for now. Tried goin up the wall the second go round and was hitting the pillar, might have made it if i went higher up the wall, but had traffic behind me. I'll have to give it another shot next time.

we did most of the trail at night, so i don't have too many pics of the trip from Wentworth Springs to Buck Island Lake, here are a few more of this trip and a few from a previous trip. The wheeling is great as is the scenery, my favorite place by far.

I really like to see the fill size full body rigs out there. It sure does shock the jeeps n yotas. You got a pretty clean rig for that trail.
I was out there 2 weekends ago and had a great time.

My lady was asking me "Where do all the CK5 guys wheel?" so now I know we have a few more out in the con than I thought.

You do any wheeling at fordyce?

been meaning to get to fordyce, haven't made it there yet. Gas prices are really cutting into my trail rides these days, if i can't go for atleast 3-4 days, i just go camping with the s15.

You planning on going up again sometime? It would be nice to wheel with a couple other folks with full sizes, my buddys all have jeep or toyotas, although my brother's jeep is hardly a jeep anymore, it's mostly my old blazer :)

Hey, if you plan on running the rubicon or fordyce next year, look me up. (I'm fairly local to the con, and fordyce i guess can be considered in my backyard as well.) I will have my truck ready to go for sure. The group i run in, makes both of the trails pretty regularly, so i should be making quite a few trips with them and other next year/ possibly late into sept. this year..

Next time you guy go to the Rubicon, I'd like to go with you. Just PM me when you're gonna plan a trip and I might be able to round up a couple other buddies with fullsizes.

Scott

Sounds good, I was thinking Labor Day to hit up Cantina...
