I may have a friend interested. He just killed the 305 in his 85. How does it run?? Also, is there anyway you could get it to OKC?

when i got the 74 tcase was bad, so i havent actually driven on the motor. i just hooked up the battery chrager and it fired right up. the guy i bought it from had just put the carb on, so i bet that might need some sort of adjusting.
otherwise it ran ok. i think i left it running for 7-8 straight minutes.
okc is about three hours away...the time really isnt the problem, just the amount of gas id have to use to get there.

I just sent him the link to this thread so I'm sure he will get back with me soon. I don't want to say for sure, but I think he can find a way to come get it if you can't. He works in the Depot for Jet Engines on Tinker AFB, there has to be a few guys with trucks that can help him out.

Well I just got off the phone with him...he ended up buying a crate 350. 
I'm still interested in the 91 front clip if you are willing to hold it until January...of course I'll pay now

If this isn't possible maybe I can con my friend in OKC to come pick it up after the new engine goes in...the engine will be done in about a week but I'm sure he'll want to put a few (500) miles on it before he takes a trip anywhere.
