Which bolts are you talking about, the four that bolt the adapter to the trans or the eight that bolt the adapter to the t-case?

Loctite is a must on all drivetrain bolts IMHO... BB or not.

Red loctite is the big dog when it comes to loctite.

Hi 4x4 high , Yes i am talking about the 4 bolts , 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom.

You first need to make sure the threads in the aluminum case are in good condition. If the threads are good then you need to make sure the bolts are plenty long but not too long, and finally you need to make sure there is a split lock washer under the head of those bolts. DO NOT use lock-tite on those bolts if you ever want to remove them without damaging the trans case.

My best guess is that the threads aren't very good so you're lossing clamping force on the threads and they're backing out on you OR you aren't using the split lock washers on those bolts.

I think he has both, no washer and threads are worn out.
As for length, I had 2 bolts really long and stuck them thru to the other side and put a nut, never had problems since, the other 2 are blind holes so I couldn't do that but I did check the depth and got the longest bolts I could put and it helped a lot, about 1/2" longer than stock IIRC.

I agree with most of the others I think your bolt holes are not in good shape.

Helicoil them and loctite them thats what I did and i had the even heavier 203.

If you don't fix it fast your adaptor and t-case will seperate and possibly break your transmission
