Never lay under your truck at the trailhead with all of your crew watching, pullijg down with all your might on a ratchet, straight towards your face. Not only does the concussion suck, but the unbridled laughter of your friends might sting a little too. I still ran the trail, but only to silence the laughter.:D

i did the opposite. i was shoving up on the wrench and broke it in half. i really thought i broke my hand when it hit the frame. drove the rest of the trail with that hand in my ice chest. icy cold water sloshing all over the cab.

I can't believe your friends would laugh at you for injuring yourself.

Come to think of it, I retract my previous statement, because I think I know a couple of your friends......:rotfl:

Looks like you're ready to start working for 7-11 now...

as bad as that hurt, and I KNOW it did, I bet the nuckleheads laughing at you hurt 10 time more for a bit. :D :haha:

Daaaaaamn! I have punched myself in the face, the same way a couple of times, but I guess that is better then taking a clubing to the head with a Snap-on.

No one laughed until we knew he was generally ok. I don't think anyone realized how severe it was until John's eyes glazed over and he started humming the theme music to Yentl.

Now that's what I call a hole! And what ever that is coming out...push it back in!!:D

I can relate to injuries like that.

I did one better than the forehead: I took a shot from a ratchet on my upper lip, under the nose, about 1" long split. Looked pretty much like your cut, too, but just on the upper lip. Didn't get any stitches though.

"Did anyone bring a first aid kit" LOL!

Funny thing is, when we got ot the meeting spot, maybe 45 minutes before this happened, I gave INTERCEPTOR a real nice first aid kit for his rig. Did I use it? Nope, baby wipes and toilet paper.:doah:

looks like you have something hanging out there?:eek1: first rule of using a rachet push dont pull.:haha:

no no no, if he would have done that there would never have been an entertaining thread like this for our entertainment. remember a smack on the head: ......is a few hours or pain and embarrassment. offering this pain and embarrassment to be shared with fellow ck5'ers to poke aditional ribbing at and enjoy:....priceless! :D :haha: :haha: just kidding man, glad it was not worse, judging from the sh** eat'n grin on you mug, you took that whack on your mellon like a ck5 man should.......with a big ass girn on your face, and ofcourse post a pic before first aid. :D

Dang, no sticthes huh???Gotta goose egg today???

The doc said he would have put a few stitches in if I had come in at a reasonable time, but since over 24 hourshad passed, he said sticthes were out as an option. Guess I'll have a cool scar... Goose egg finally went down last night. I'm still feeling a little fuzzy, having a hard time keeping focused, but the doc said that might last about a week...:doah:
