I need the style with the u joint at the case with either u bolts or straps not the later model flanged style.
 
You will need to have a 10 spline front output in case you didn't know. As far as i know all the 30 and 32 spline stuff is the flat flange.
 
Unless you want to upgrade to a 32 spline shaft from a ford case... then you can run a u-joint.
 
If you have a 10 spline shaft, I have the yoke.
If you have or want to upgrade to 32 spline shaft and 1310 CV yoke, I have that too.

so is my 78 205 a 30 or 32 spline on the front? If it's 32 can I just run the ford yoke?
 
What he ^^^said. And your 78 model t-case should be 30 spline. If it has a flat flange front output, it is 30 spline.
