Since I'm a teacher, I talked the Auto Tech kids into working on the truck and get some work done in the school's shop. They mounted the tires and started buttoning up some of the oil leaks.

Not fair!Since I'm a teacher, I talked the Auto Tech kids into working on the truck and get some work done in the school's shop. They mounted the tires and started buttoning up some of the oil leaks.

Not fair! The tires look great on the stock rims and I can't wait to test them out.

Ummm...a proper lift and/or crossover or hydraulic steering.I'll double check the steering for the larger tires. How else would you solve this problem without limiting steering?
I wish they hadn't closed our autoshop completely the year before I graduated with very little warning. My plans for a senior year of auto shop, auto body, shop class, welding, and work experience fizzled! They are learning a lot and having a good time. I'll probably get them a couple of pizzas at the end of the semester. I wish some nice guy would have let me work on his truck when I was in high school Auto Tech class.

Looks like it is coming along nicely. When I read your first post about dragging the Blazer out of the trees on the farm.... I thought this guy has got to be from east river SD or SW MN.
Go to the bank.

what happened here? seemed like a cool idea.
