Dont know how I missed this but Corral Canyon is still closed due to the Horse Fire. I have not read anywhere that it has been reopened to the public. I do want to go out again, there is always superstition out by David. It is aboot 1.5 Hrs for me in El Cajon. There is also Wildomar up by Temecula. You can make that place as hard as you want as I broke a front driveshaft the last time out:o .

Yep, it's still closed, I pass by it everyday on the way to work.

Damn that sucks!!!! I wonder how long it will be closed for:confused:

I was looking forward to going up this weekend, to do some crawlin and a little muddin!:D

Stop by the Far SoCal thread...if anything is coming up down here, it should be there. Subscride and you'll know. I'm up for wheeling almost any time, give me a holler. Anyone ever poke around on that trail from the south side of the Pine Valley exit to Buckman Springs? Not much wheeling, but there might be some side trails I've never explored. There's gota be more places to wheel up there in the mntns.

NOTE: We always have a big shindig down here at Superstition at new years...we have Christmas tree bonfire with about 150 trees. :D

If you don't mind the 1.5 hr drive it's wheelin' paradise over here...

:doah: . No they like to name fires down here and this one was "The Horse Fire". It might have started in Horse Theif Canyon I dont really know.

Corral Canyon is opened back up thanks mainly to the efforts of local wheelers and the forestry service. It is only the northern most 3rd but that includes Bronco Peak and the Bronco Peak Connector.

Cool. I hope to be up and running before long. NOt sure if Corral is open. Thought I heard it burned. We could do Jacumba. It's only 76 degrees down here now, time for some wheelin' trips in the desert.

Got another new guy down here in the valley now too. "OLBLAZER"

Corral Canyon is open. It is only partially open but open none the less. You can still run Bronco Peak and the Bronco Peak Connector. Those are the 2 toughest out there that are rated for a fullsize:D . I will be going to the East Coast the first week in October until the 10th of Nov so wheelin is kinda out for me right now:( .
