Ok I know they are awsome. Have an offer to Buy a set NIB, guy bought them when he was in school and never used them. Wants 600 for box set (2 guns). Model numbers are jet 100bf 1.7 tip hvlp and a 90-2 1.3 tip hvlp.

I have looked them up and prices are all over the board. is this a good deal I am more comfortable at 450-500 from what I have seen. Never used SATA before but I know it is what all the big boys use.

What say ye.

that's a nice base/clear setup.. i'd go 5 if it's something your interested in..

I thought so. Beats our older sharpe and binks cup guns. They work great even after 30yrs. but would like to try the hvlp stuff. I will make offer.

Is 600 like, can buy it tomarrow off the interweb?

What is your gun of choice Paul?

I've seen those run in the 300 to 400 range a piece.. i'd be comfortable with 5 for the pair..

i don't own SATA... I've used em a few times, nice guns.. I run all kinds of other stuff tho, Devilbiss, Binks, Sharpe, depending on what I'm doing... gravity, pressure fed, etc... I have like 9 guns including touch-up guns...

My good friend is a painter for Maaco here in Billings and he has a Sata gun. He loves it and he turns out some fantastic work with it.

His boss bought it for him for around $600 and just took a little $$ out of his checks for re-imbursement.
