(I hope he doesn't read this reply...that will ruin the suprise)
Only problem is the shipping to NL that is just as expensive as the model...:eek1:

There's still moar....
Haven't even showed the under carriage yet.

First, the breakdown of a 1:24 scale Blazer.....

OMG, the drivlines actually go into the TC!!!!
001-2.jpg

Peep the Trussed axles...
002-3.jpg

9-bolt!??
003-1.jpg

Dual bypass shocks, and NP205.... (the detail is amazing!)
007-1.jpg

Body off....
008-2.jpg

Uh-oh.... Framerails gotta go!
006-2.jpg

This ESC has to move, as well....
009-1.jpg

Seriously, I commend the amount of detail these rigs have!
011-2.jpg

This is goin' back in....
012-4.jpg

The framerail used to be the spacer.
Four tiny washers on each side solved the issue....
013-3.jpg

Had to drill out some holes for the Crawler's Shock Towers.
Also, Dremel'd out a space for the ESC, under the engine bay.
014.jpg

That looks about right....
015-1.jpg

Like a glove!
(grounded the body-mold tabs down, as well.)
016-2.jpg

Test-fitting...
017-2.jpg

After EXTENSIVE rewiring....
019-3.jpg

Looks fairly stock, still..... Right?
022-3.jpg

Ya.... I sure did.
The top-half of the engine is mounted atop the ESC.
(I accidentally popped the valve covers off... They have rockers underneath!)
023-1.jpg

So happy I kept the engine! :D
024-2.jpg

Poser shots are next!

Getout really!!!!!!!!!!!

wow.... that is cool.. and for the price you could use parts of it onto a clod body and still worth the $$$$$$$$

however since it isnt expensive id have to hit it with a lead meter...

GLORY!!!!

025-1.jpg

It actually handles like a Full-Size rig..... :D
027-1.jpg

Poser shot's....
[Look! I'm NC Chris... lol.]
029-2.jpg

030-2.jpg

Did some body trimming, to clear the tires @ full flex.
033-2.jpg

Flex for daaaaays.....
034.jpg

Rear droop....
035.jpg

The front end needs some re-working.
I want this '73, to look like an '88!!!!
044-1.jpg

Headlights are in the works, as well as a LiPo Battery, and HD Bumpers.
046.jpg

Convenient charging point & On/Off Switch location...
048-2.jpg

Cool!!
Can't wait until I get mine...:D
I ordered the Hawai blue version...which is almost the same as my 1:1 which is two tone brilliant blue and white.
(Only big difference is the 1:24 blazer is a '79/'80 and the 1:1 is '91!)

Can't you fit the big tyre's underneath it...???

That's crazy (subscribed) Are yuou painting it like your rig too?

Sweet!

You can stuff scale 44's under it EASY....
The stock tires on the losi micro is a scale 39" tire, I believe.
:thumb:

The tire that comes on the Blazer is a 1:24 scale - 42" Irok.
I'd have to mod the tire to fit on the losi axle, but it's really stiff rubber.
Not really a good crawler tire.

That's crazy (subscribed) Are yuou painting it like your rig too?

Thanks! :D

I wanted to show people how to do it.
In case someone else wanted to....
I couldn't find a SINGLE 1:24 blazer conversion, on the web.
(except for plastic models, but who wants a plastic Blazer!??)

And yeah, I'm gonna make it a 1:24 version of my real Blazer.
Paint, interior, and all!!!
