14bff is on deck. What do i need to replace and where do I get it - preferably vendors here.

I'm asking about seals, bearings etc.

It is a 1986 BFF with a Detroit and 4.56 if it makes a difference.

a master install kit will have almost all the bearings you need, just ad in hub bearings and you will be set.

Diff Cover Gasket RDS55063
Axle Flange Gasket 55350
Pinion Seal 2286
Wheel Hub Seal 2081
Inner Bearing 387AS
Inner Bearing Race 382A
Outer Bearing SET38

Those are the parts that I replaced on mine. I didn't replace any of the internal differential parts other than adding a Detroit.:D

I purchased everything from the local Autozone.

yukon master install kit for all gear swap needs . and its timkin bearings and races in it. most vendors hear.

So, whitch kit to buy, YK GM10.5, or YK GM14T-A? Found them both from Yukon's web site, only difference I found was that GM10.5 has ring gear bolts included. Then I looked at Randy's site for prices, and there was only the GM14T-A?

Is there any other manufacturer for 14FF r&p sets? I looked through the local dealers site, and there were Richmond Gear, Motive Gear and Super Axle and gear, none of them have 14FF r&p.
