I'm thinking with my new lift, the angles may try to eat a u joint.. so I figure it would be nice to have a spare or two, or maybe even go ahead and replace them.. How much money should I look to spend, and what brand? what part number would I need?

I have a corp 10 front and 14ff rear, th400/203, all factory parts as of now..

I'm really not familiar at all with u joints, so any basic info would be great!!
thanks,
James

Front joint is a 1310 and the rear joint is a 1350. As far as price I do not know as I have a conversion joint in my shaft and I have only purchased an S44 joint:o .

If i am not mistaken there was a post on here a while back with a photo of a Spicer tool (basically a tape measure)...that you just put the joint up to that and size it up.....i just can't find it. And my lazy arse didn't print it out:(

I have that spicer tool......oh my god its a magnet.....on the side of my toolbox at work. measures from 13xx upto 1880 series ujoints.

A normal tape measure will do just fine...

1310: 3-7/32 X 1-1/16
1330: 3-5/8 X 1-1/16
3R or S44: 3-5/8 X 1-1/8
1350: 3-5/8 X 1-3/16
1410: 4-3/16 X 1-3/16

Off the top of my head, I think they should be right.

took a pic of it...........just 'cause.
