Hello. Finishing up on the 1970 k5 and scored this rear seat. Not sure of the year. Like the idea of easily removable.. I was going to fabricate some mounting brackets but thought I might get lucky someone might have some or know somewhere to get an aftermarket set. Are these built into the truck? Maybe some installed in bed floor picts of brackets? Been waiting for a k5 to hit the pickandpull but no luck. Thanks in advance.

That looks like the folding seat out of a station wagon that goes way in the back. I thought about putting one in the rear of mine. We had a Chevy Celebrity wagon for a while with one.

Another option for donors would be 80s Suburban 3rd row seats. They are basically the same as the K5 rear bench. These pics are from my 85 K5 seat seat. Sockets are recessed in the floor.

Great pict that is exactly what I was looking for. Appreciate it. Do you think it will be to tall if I fab up one above the floor? And does the front hook under something? One more picture up front would be great!

Above the floor would obstruct cargo from siting flat on the floor.

The front mount just bolts flat to the floor with the seat flipped up to access the bolt.

I have the same seat in my 74 k5. I just fabbed some brackets out of angle iron and used a piece of .5 inch all thread spanned across the angle pieces that the rear latches attach to. I don't fold my seat forward tho.

Sweet. Simple. Thats exactly what I will do. Glad I asked! I was about to do something much more complex.
