And of course the Razorback, everyone knows this cover.

They both run about the same price but the Riddler comes with a lifetime warranty and i like the no lip design. Has anyone run one of these?

And if Kert sees this, do you have a warranty at all?
I don't think i would need one but its nice knowing that if i punch a hole in it that i can have it replaced.

If you punch a hole in Kert's cover, you will have more problems than the hole.

I run Blutorch covers, Pre Kert days. They are 3/8 ring with 1/4 plate just like Kert's minus the ribs. I have beat tham against rocks. No problems to date. They have some nice gouges in them.

Im running a T/A pre loaded Diff cover from Randy's Pinon,,its a HD part for sure.

I've got Kerts RB's... IMO, it's the baddest looking, toughest cover out.. end of story...

I'd never run a cast cover...

i dont knowwww

i like how smooth the riddler is.

I feel like the razorback is too... i dont know. its too something.
But so sexy.

And without the razors it looks too plain.

While it's not the "riddler" that is pictured, I use a Crane cover http://shop.cranehiclearance.com/product.sc?productId=5&categoryId=3 that looks nearly identical and I have no complaints. I don't see the downside to these cast covers being that they are made of chromoly (not iron) that is 1/2" thick and are at least as strong as the cast iron housing they are bolted to. Really, either cover will be strong enough that you should never be concerned with failure even with no expressed warranty.

Get whichever one you think looks better and don't worry about it!:waytogo:

Or get the ruffstuff cover, its all 3/8. I bet you cant puncture one.

i have had my hands on a few ruffstuff covers . DAM :eek1: heavy stuff. if you mess one up you got big problems.

always liked kirts . that razor would look so bad a$$ done up diamond cut fins.:whistle::whistle:

I would get Kerts razorback for sure. Why, I like the guy. Simple as that

bingo, if i ever find a pair of pre 1988 SRW hubs and get the measurements for the disk brake setup on my D70HD, ill be getting with kert to make my brackets, and for my crossover steering, and all that jazz. as well as my diff covers. why? because everone on here has nothing but positive things to say about the guy, his products, and his customer support. working in the service industry myself, that kind of glowing recomendation makes all other options irrelevant.

Infact, I'll be in the diff cover market, soon. I'll be using Kerts. even if they are a little more $$.
Like was said before, if you damage one of DIY4X's diff covers, you got bigger issues than just a damaged cover. That would take a real bad hit to wreck one those covers! Infact I'd wager you'd probably break the differential itself before the cover would break. Short of a direct hit from a long gun round.:eek1:

We have a warranty on all our products. If you destroy the product we'll replace it, there is no expiration date on the warranty. It has never really been mentioned much simply for the fact its kind of irrelevant on our products.

Have you ever seen the movie Tommy boy?:D

Not in years, great movie though. And that's good to know. Is there any way you can put a fill hole in? My pumpkin currently has a broken easy out stuck in the fill hole. I ended up welding one in my cover.

Yep, we put in fills and drains upon request quite regularly.

Pretty sure Kert offers a CK5 discount. Not totally sure and certainly don't want to talk for him.

And I have seen Kert drive, his products are built to withstand his abuse (or poor spotting by people who just want to get his rig flexed out:whistle:) so they will certainly stand up to a beating. Plus I like to support someone who is this active on CK5.

I have the Ruffstuff cover. It's pretty good. 3/8" all the way but I kind of wish I went with kert's instead of saving the money on the ruffstuff's. Plus the holes weren't perfect all the way around so I had to enlarge some to get them all in. I also got the drain plug installed.
