At idle it was running kinda ruff. When it went through emissions it had a good amount of carbon build up in it, the truck received a score of 21 out of 44 allowed. It smoothened out my idle and I'm hoping it lowers the carbon build up, but my next emissions test isn't for a few years.
I would think everything. Treat the gas, clean the injectors, and try to remove some carbon from the valves and piston tops would be the best idea. I guess it's one of those quicker fixes Vs long team treatments.
That reminds me of the time we poured ATF down the Edelbrock in my Royal Monaco's 360 , except mine was waaaaaaaaay smoky . All our neighbors came out ( it was like 9pm LOL ) and my buddy ended up tapping one of the neighbor ladies eventually
Berrymans has a cleaner that is like that. We used it in the crankcase & fuel of my buddies Waggy w/360 V8. It helped a little bit to clean out the gunk.
