Seafoam

My biggest concern was lowering my carbon build up, so I dumped it down the carb. I was led to believe my dieseling issue every once in awhile was because of the carbon build up. So far so good, but with my issue with my high idle I haven't driven it much.

Have you tried readjusting the carb? you could have had enough build up that it wasn't letting it get enough gas at idle and now its flowing freely. Try readjusting.

When the last carb gave out, we put a new one on it and nothing was changed sense then. I got off the phone with mosesburb not to long ago and he is convinced it's most likely a vacuum leak. I'm going to take his advice and look over all my stuff to make sure its 100% ok.

Try the carb cleaner trick. another tip, next time you use seafoam, don't pour straight into the carb if you can help it, and also, I don't agree with the let the foam shut the motor off, run the motor for a little bit and get it warm, and then shut it off if your pouring straight into the carb. if going through the brake booster, shut it off right after, and let it sit for 25-45 mins. and then run the piss out of it. good luck!
