just picked this up and front seats are original and thrashed.
What newer seats for comfort and a nice middle console will fit in and bolt with new holes or old without being to high, low, or wide?
Still need to be able to move enough for kids to jump in back seat which I will replace with the Escalade 3rd row option write up I read since lots on craigslist for less than $200

How hard would I be to add power seats with warmers etc?
Lots on craigslist just not sure what to look for
Thanks

2000-2006 Tahoe, Silverado, Cadillac, Suburban fronts and Tahoe, Escalade third row.

They all have integrated seat belts.

x2 on everything @frankin5 said. I'm running a set of 2000 Tahoe buckets up front with console, and a 3rd row from another Tahoe in the rear. Snag the brackets for the third row when you get the seat, if you go to a pull a part yard.. I would up getting a set from two trucks, so as to have the 5 needed to build onto a frame, so the seat clips in like stock and can fold and tumble.

@Hosalabad are your front seats mounted flush to the floor or did you make brackets? I have a set I'll be installing, as is they feel low (~3") so I'll have to build something. Just looking for ideas.

I made some shitty brackets. Super unhappy with how they turned out. I was trying to use 3" flat stock to build a bracket to convert from factory bolt pattern to the 2k seats. In the end it worked but ugly.

I also have 2002 Silverado Buckets up front, and a Suburban 3rd row out back. The fronts sit low, but I plan to mount them to my cage as I get around to it to raise them up about 2". They work well enough for now though.

Never really took pics of the rears, but you can see them here: https://ck5.com/forums/threads/the-...e-the-engines-out.315442/page-12#post-3840873

The rears sit high with the Suburban brackets. I ended up welding the stock rear latch to the seat, and added a crossbar to re-use the K5 front hinges. Works well, and keeps the seat much lower than the Suburban mounts.

How did you bolt in the rears?
I found a 3rd row Escalade set that has the 3 seat belts and folds down so want to get it if it’s easy to install

Got a nice set of seats today for $75 with console and no rips...
