Well, I'd tell you, but like they say..............
And I can't afford the gas to go up there and do it.
The tricky stuff that you have to hold down or turn on to make it run is fine.
But, if riders or someone standing nearby can see you do it and its obvious, then you have just eliminated its main value.
Several folks I know have a switch hidden under the floor mat on the left side higher than you would normally put your left foot, but not way up there.
They can hop in, crank the car, and be gone and even if you were watching for a move, you would not notice.
The switch I would love to use they don't make any more. Back in the 70's if I remember right, Lincoln and some upper line Fords had the horn button as a rubber ring inside the rim of the steering wheel.
It was great. To blow the horn, all you had to do was squeeze the wheel anywhere.
In fact, if someone did something dangerous in front of you, you often blew the horn automatically.
The only downside was if the engine stalled. Cranking that barge to the curb with no power steering, you were blowing the horn all the way.
But, what a great kill switch that would be. Just squeeze the wheel when you were cranking.
No one would ever notice. The rubber usually matched the wheel color, and looked like a grip strip or something.
