Can you “romp” in a 6.2 with 37s?Go romp in the snow!
You wouldn't be able to tell if you left the bottom or back vinyl on. It covers everything. Can you tell the original vinyl was left under it? I was thinking of doing the same for my truck. The seats are decent but I wasn't sure if it would be obvious that I just slipped it over the original slick vinyl.
Yeah, I may go with the cheaper 6.2 mods first then I may go turbo. For now, I'm enjoying it and is ok power wise for city driving.Yeah, I'm in. Digging the hell out of the truck, and glad Dr. There's-a-Comma-in-my-Horsepower-Rating is a member of the 6.2 crowd, if only temporarily.

Upgraded the headlights. Found some 5x7 LED Daymakers on Amazon for $91 shipped. These have the 2017 new generation Osram chips which are pretty bright. 5800 lumens for high beam and 3800 lumens for low beam. Did a very light black out on the turn signals to match. Night driving is so much better now!

Next up- upgrading the chrome aftermarket light with some square LED lights and light bar.
Same thing as the more expensive Truck-Lite brand. I didn't want to spend much on these and the light output is SO much better over stock halogens. There's many options out there. I'd suggest looking at the Lumen output. These had the most compared to other LED lights.Might have to try those out, they look like a decent cheaper option.
My truck is still factory military 12/24 volt system but the headlights only use 12v. You'd have to do some wiring with some relays and connect them directly to the 24v bus bar. Same thing with brights. I'd assume that would work but not 100% relays would handle the 12/24v properly.I have a good friend that works on the AIRFORCE base locally in the motor pool. I have been hounding him to get me some of the LED 24v off-road lights they run on the HUMMWV's around here. He has four on his farm truck and they are ridiculously bright and efficient. He only uses the truck for plowing snow and if he keeps on taunting me with them I'm gonna take them off and use them on my truck and let him get some more for himself...LOL. He is truck is a CUCV that is still 24v.
You must be interested since this sparked your interest. Come on over dude. My doctor rates are very reasonable.Performing a proctology exam before installing headlights?
